Telligen
Goals
Improve navigation for their customers, get more leads, update the content and design to better reflect what they do.
Results
We proposed a new strategy for content, information architecture, and design updates to accomplish their goals to handoff to their development team to implement.
My Roles
I was involved in the client discovery, research and development of the strategy, wire framing, and design concepts.
Telligen works with Federal, state and private employers to optimize their healthcare programs to be more efficient. Their goal is to improve health outcomes for individuals and to organizations time, money and resources. The main users would be managers at government or company offices looking to work with Telligen to audit their healthcare programs.
The problems we heard from them in our discovery were, their customers were getting lost on their site, they were not getting the leads they wanted, their content was not consistent and not concise enough, and they did not accurately show all of what their capabilities were.
What we proposed to the client was an adjusted content structure that at the highest level concisely spoke about who they served, and then what they do for them, how they do it, and making it easy to start the process. The navigation was updated to try and eliminate duplicate content and reduce decision fatigue. Pages of a similar level of content, such as services provided to state offices, used a similar template structure for easy compare and contrast and to help users understand context of where they were. We also designed a contact form where users could select more specifically what they needs were and allow Telligen to customize the plan to them.
We presented this strategy along with a wireframe of what the site could look like once these are implemented. We ran through a few user flow examples with the mockup to show how different users would get to where they need. This was brought to others within their company to test and look over and was approved for implementation. We delivered the content strategy, full design mockup and a style guide for their development team.
